GOODBYE SOLO

Ramin Bahrani's 3rd feature film, GOODBYE SOLO, premiered as an official selection of the Venice Film Festival (2008) and was awarded the prestigious FIPRESI Critic's Prize for best film before then having its North American premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

Roadside Attractions released the film nationwide in Spring/Summer 2009 and is the best reviewed film released in 2009.

CHOP SHOP

CHOP SHOP (2007), Bahrani's second feature film, was hailed by Roger Ebert as "a masterpiece" and was on his top films of 2008. On countless other top ten films of 2008 lists, Chop Shop was also recently nominated for a Gotham Award and two Independent Spirit Awards, including best director. In 2008, Bahrani won the Acura "Someone to Watch" Independent Spirit Award.
